All of the trainers who work with clients at The Academy operate as independent contractors and are not employed by our facility.
Bryan Francis, owner and coach, has been training for nearly 20 years in California and South Florida. He graduated with honors from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelors of Science degree in exercise physiology. While attending CSUS, Bryan worked under Al Biancani, Head Strength & Conditioning coach of the Sacramento Kings. He currently works with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, and is the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach to the Sacramento State Baseball team.
Bryan Washington owner, with 10+ years experience in strength and conditioning, personal training, group training and sports specific team training.
Christian is a Sacramento native whose life-long love affair with fitness began with the hope of training hard enough to become a superhero. While he still isn’t quite able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, the drive to embody his values and bring out the best in himself hasn’t changed. His mission is to use fitness coaching to help his clients embody the best in themselves and become strong enough to handle whatever life demands of them.
Jessica is a dedicated mother to two very active young boys, and has a passion for creating a healthy balance between life, fitness, and nutrition. Her love of sports started at a young age where she played a multitude of sports including, softball, volleyball, soccer, and basketball.
Brianne has been a personal trainer for over four years. Her passion is coaching women to build physical and mental strength, develop confidence and self-love, and create healthy habits through fitness and nutrition. Brianne’s workouts are meant to challenge you, but also build you up. Her clients leave the gym feeling accomplished and empowered.
Jason is a former O-lineman turned rugby player turned into a fitness professional. He has been helping people unlock their potential since he graduated with his BS in Kinesiology from Humboldt State University in 2005. His goal is to help people become the best version of themselves. Whether you are working out one on one or in a group setting his goal is to make it fun but also keep it challenging. His main focus is to help you reach your goals and make you feel, look, move like the athlete that you are.
